The Supportive Shade is Zagreus's lone fan in the Elysium arena who cheers for him whenever he defeats the Champions of Elysium.
The Supportive Shade returns in Hades II and can be found near the entrace of Tartarus in the Fields of Mourning and later in The Crossroads.
Hades[]
The supportive shade can be seen above a banner of Zagreus in the arena of Elysium where Theseus and Asterius will be fought. When the shade is approached after a victory, they will emote, and Zagreus will thank them for their support.
Hades II[]
The supportive shade now resides near the entrace to Tartarus in the Fields of Mourning. Melinoë can interact with them after defeating the corrupted Cerberus and they will emote. After talking to them multiple times, Melinoë can exorcize the Supportive Shade to relocate them to the Crossroads. They can later be found in the Training Grounds with the other shades surrounding Commander Schelemeus.

- Zagreus' banners are also present in Asterius' solo and Dire Soul Catcher's arenas, implying he has fans there too, even though there are no orange shades to be found there.
- A popular theory in the fandom is that this is actually Zagreus's mortal grandfather the Mortal Farmboy.
- All things considered, this is unlikely, since Zagreus's grandfather was a simple farmer and thus more likely to end up in Asphodel. However, Hades might have made an exception for him since it would be Persephone's father and instead granted him an afterlife of luxury in Elysium.
