Queen Lamia is a mini-boss that can be encountered in the Fields of Mourning. She is attended by several of her offspring, the Lamiai, and wields a more powerful version of their move set.
Notably, Queen Lamia can channel multiple damaging beams at once. Additionally, she will summon clouds of Miasma that will slow Melinoë dramatically if she comes into contact with it.
Queen Lamia is heavily Armored, so her casts cannot be interrupted for most of the fight. However, if she is slain first, the other Lamiai will automatically despawn.

'Within the Mourning Fields are those that have truly given in, and those that feast upon such negative auras. The abominable Queen Lamia, long since having shed her mortal guise, fits into either category. She controls her self-named spawn only through fear. If she even remembers the reasons for her burning hatred for deathless gods and mortals alike, none can say by now.'

- In Greek mythology, Lamia was a queen said to have had an affair with Zeus. In anger, Hera destroyed the children birthed from the affair, driving Lamia to madness. Lamia then took to kidnapping and devouring other children, and her form eventually became as monstrous as her deeds.
