The Olympian Gods.
The Olympians (sing. Olympian, also known as the Olympian Gods) are the third and current generation of divine rulers of the Greek World who reside on Mount Olympus having taken control of the world from the Titans by force during a long and terrible war.
In the games, they serve as allies to Zagreus and Melinoƫ, granting them their powerful boons to help them on their respective journeys.
History
Origins
The six eldest Olympians were born from two Titans families; Hades, Poseidon and Zeus are the sons of Chronos, while Hestia, Demeter and Hera are the daughters of Hyperion and Theia, they rebelled against the rule of Chronos starting a war between the Gods and Titans due to Chronos' tyrannical rule. The gods wielded the Infernal Arms which gave them an advantage over the titans and ultimately victory over them. The Titans were sliced up into many pieces which were cast off in Tartarus so that they could never regenerate again.
After the war, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades drew lots to divide the world. Zeus gained the Heavens and Poseidon the Seas while Hades received the Underworld.
Hades
In Hades, Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Aphrodite, Ares, Athena, Artemis, Dionysus and Hermes help Zagreus in his attempts to escape out of the Underworld by providing their boons to him as they believed that he wanted to join them on Mount Olympus unaware that he was actually searching for his mother, Persephone.
After the epilogue, they continue to help Zagreus on his new job of testing the defenses of the Underworld.
Hades II
Before the events of the game, the Olympians lost contact with Hades and his family. At first, the gods assumed that Hades was just in one of his foul moods but found it strange that neither Persephone nor Zagreus reached out to them. To their horror, they discovered that Chronos had returned and taken control of the Underworld. Chronos opened the gates of the Underworld allowing the dead to roam free which caused many of them to swear allegiance to him and attack Mount Olympus with Prometheus leading the assault of their home. The Olympians managed to repel the constant assaults from the forces of Chronos, but this only turned the war into a stalemate as the gods were too busy with the defense of Olympus to reach Chronos in the Underworld. Unbeknownst to everyone, Chronos managed to awakened the dreaded Typhon, Father of All Monsters, whom he unleashed to attack the peak of Mount Olympus forcing the Gods to retreat to the Palace of Zeus.
While searching for a possible advantage over their enemy, Artemis and Hermes discovered the Crossroads and with it Hecate and Melinoƫ, the second child of Hades and Persephone. Hecate made them keep Melinoƫ's existence a secret from the other Olympians until she was ready to face Chronos. After Melinoƫ had completed her training, Artemis told Apollo about Melinoƫ who then proceeded to inform the rest of his family.
In Hades II, Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia, Ares, Aphrodite, Apollo, Hephaestus and Hermes help Melinoƫ in her attempts to defeat Chronos and Typhon, being the game's main boon providers while Artemis, Athena and Dionysus provide a limited selection of boons as they only appear in-person to Melinoƫ in certain areas of the game.

Trivia
- Although chthonic by work, Hades is still Olympian by blood.
- Likewise, Persephone and Hermes are also considered partly chthonic given their ties to the Underworld.
- As pointed out by Hestia, she and Hades are not seen as Olympians most times. This is because those seen as Olympians are typically only the 12 gods of the Pantheon, of which Hades and Hestia don't belong; Hades because he resides and rules the Underworld and Hestia because she resigned her place in favor of Dionysus.
- The six elder Olympians in mythology share the same titan parents: Cronus and Rhea.
- Persephone in mythology is actually the daughter of Zeus and Demeter making her a full goddess unlike the games where she is half mortal due to having a mortal father.
