Numbskulls are vicious, predatory natives of the Underworld that roam throughout Tartarus.
As creatures serving no master but their own vicious instinct, they are not officially allied with Chronos and his forces. Nevertheless, they bear the influence of the Titan of Time in their appearance: an hourglass branded on the forehead of each skull.
Numbskulls appear in scattered packs, and attack using a fast, mid-range biting lunge. In Hades II there are no Skullomats that they can infinitely spawn from, but can still show up in large numbers.

'Essentially-mindless apparitions of the throes of death; they prey upon the souls of the damned, if any lately they can find. They serve no master, yet also pose no great threat to Chronos or his followers. Thus they are tolerated, barely, if but for the sport of Satyr cultists seeking to test the strength of their hooves.'
