Keepsakes are items that can be equipped to obtain some sort of benefit during a run. They are acquired by giving Nectar to various characters for the first time. A keepsake can be equipped in the display case in the Training Grounds before a run.
Things to note about using Keepsakes:
- Once a keepsake has been equipped and Melinoƫ has left the Crossroads, the keepsake cannot be swapped out for a different one except between regions.
- Access to a keepsake display case between regions is unlocked with the Kindred Keepsakes Incantation.
- Caution: Closing the keepsake display after changing keepsakes will lock the display from being accessed again until the next post-Guardian room.
- If you switch out of a keepsake mid-run, you cannot switch back to it for the rest of the run.
- Keepsakes automatically rank up when enough encounters are cleared while the keepsake is equipped which upgrades a keepsake's effect to Rare and Epic.
- Rank 2: 25 encounters
- Rank 3: 50 encounters
- The Heroic rank of a Keepsake is only achievable by having the
Cherished Heirloom duo boon from Demeter & Hera.

Additional Notes[]
- The "A Boon of (God Name) is likely" effect of Olympian Keepsakes refers to boon prioritization: when a location reward is a Boon (excluding Boons from Hermes and Chaos), it is guaranteed to match the god associated with the equipped Keepsake. This effect activates once per Keepsake per run.
- Boon prioritization may also occur when using
Change of Fate on a Major Find location, as the reward may randomly change to a Boon.
- Boon prioritization does not applyāunless the eligible Olympian pool has reached four or more godsāto the following:
Boons and
Mystery Boons sold in Charon's Shop
Boons upgraded from Minor Finds via The Artificer
Mystery Boons sold in the Shrine of Hermes
Mystery Boons granted by Narcissus through Mixed Blessings
- The "A Boon of (God Name) is likely" label can be misleading, as it does not increase the general chance of receiving Boons from the associated godāit only affects prioritization when a Boon is already the reward.
- Boon prioritization may also occur when using
- At Rank 1, these keepsakes can only be used with Common Boons; at Rank 2, it can be used with Common OR Rare Boons, and so on.
- Rarifying will increase rarity by 1. For example, a Boon that started out Rare will become Epic, a Boon that started out Epic will become Heroic, etc.
- The
Cherished Heirloom Duo Boon does not typically interact with Olympian Keepsakes in the usual way. Instead of upgrading Keepsakes's rarity directly, it offers an extra Rarify option, but only if the Rarify option has been used beforehand.
- The effect applies only to the current Olympian Keepsake and does not extend to new Olympian Keepsakes if you switch in the next region.
- If the extra Rarify option is not used, it will not carry over to another Olympian Keepsake after switching in a new region.
Trivia[]
- The Luckier Tooth keepsake is a reference to the Lucky Tooth from the first game. Since this one is Luckier, it gives 1 more Life when you die.
- Similarly to the first game, these keepsakes also have references to Greek myth:
- Silver Wheel - a wheel symbol that's associated with Hecate.
- Engraved Pin - references Moros' role alongside the Fates.
- Metallic Droplet - the substance inside the vial is probably Mercury, which is Hermes' Roman counterpart.
- White Antler - a reference to Artemis' sacred animal, the deer.
- Iridescent Fan - possibly a reference to the rainbow goddess Iris, who was a messenger of Hera, while also a reference to peacocks, Hera's sacred animal.
- Adamant Shard - in myth, adamant is a powerful metal used by the gods, Hephaestus himself using it at one point.
- Lion Fang - a nod to the Nemean Lion which Heracles slew.
- Blackened Fleece - an opposite and reference to the Golden Fleece, an item connected to Medea.
- Crystal Figurine - resembles a pig, which Circe is known to turn tresspassers into.
- Gorgon Amulet - a reference to the Medusa myth in which Athena is involved.
- Fig Leaf - the fig tree is associated with Dionysus.
