Life Health is Melinoë's Life Total. By default, she has 30 health. If it reaches 0, she will leave and return to The Crossroads. You start each night with full health, and it is reduced by being hit by enemy attacks or traps, triggering relevant Chaos curses, entering a Chaos Gate.

When unlocking the Eternity arcana card from the Altar of Ashes, Melinoë can get Death Defiances. Instead of dying after receiving lethal damage which reduces her health to 0, Melinoë instead loses one Death Defiance charge, briefly becomes invulnerable, and restores 40% Health for a second chance.

  • Life Affirmation II Life Affirmation (Aphrodite) increases the effect of max Health rewards you find by +40%/+50%/+60%/+70%.
  • Plentiful Forage II Plentiful Forage (Demeter) grants +5/+8/+10/+13 max Health after gathering plants, seeds, and mushrooms.
  • Soul II Soul (Chaos) grants +26–35/+52–70/+78–105/+104–140 max Health.
  • Uncanny Fortitude II Uncanny Fortitude (Hephaestus) grants +20%/+30%/+40%/+50% max Health based on your Magick limit.
  • Water Fitness II Water Fitness Infusion (Poseidon) grants +15 max Health for each Water you have.

  • Self Healing II Self Healing Infusion (Apollo) restores 30% Health after taking damage when having at least 3 Fire.
  • Sunken Treasure II Sunken Treasure (Poseidon) may drop a Food item.

  • Moon Water II Moon Water restores 15 Health up to 3 times, which reset whenever you use a Fountain.
    • Panacea II Panacea restores any Health lost during the last 3 seconds.
    • Vigor II Vigor restores an extra 10 Health.
  • Twilight Curse II Twilight Curse (No Healing Effects)
    • Sustenance II Sustenance has a 20% chance of turning 1 foe per Location into an item that restores 10 Health.

  • Vampiric Cataclysm The Vampiric Cataclysm upgrade for the Witch's Staff restores 5 Health when you kill an enemy with the Ω Attack.

  • Engraved Pin Engraved Pin restores 30/45/60/90 Health per rank if no foes remain.
  • Ghost Onion Ghost Onion restores up to a total of 50/75/100/150 Health per rank whenever you exit a Location.
  • Luckier Tooth Luckier Tooth restores 51/76/101/121 Health per rank when it activates.

  • Fountains restore a varying amount of Health.
  • Old Herbal Remedy II Circe's Old Herbal Remedy restores 50% Health when chosen and makes all healing effects 25% stronger.
  • Death Defiance Death Defiance restores 40% Health when a charge is consumed.
  • HealthBar 1upEcho Echo's Death Defiance restores 50% Health when one charge is consumed but restores less Health when more charges are used.

  • White Antler White Antler sets max Health to 30 and does not allow it to be increased through any means while the keepsake is active. However, any increases to max Health that were accumulated while using it will become active once the keepsake is removed or expires.
