- Unlike other currencies earned from bosses, Golden Apples are not considered a Reagent. They are instead located in Melinoë's inventory under the Greeneries tab.
- In Greek mythology, Golden Apples were considered a rare delicacy by the Gods who often sought to keep them for themselves. It was also said that if a mortal ever ate one then they would be blessed with Immortality essentially becoming a minor God.
- Also, when unlocking the Sweet Nectar recipe during a conversation with Aphrodite, she references Golden Apples being used to "distract beautiful rivals, initiate great wars", referencing the myth of how the Trojan War started.
