Hades Wiki

Dionysus boons revolve around in empowering Melinoë. Additionally, Dionysus has a boon that can grant his Status Curse Hangover which causes afflicted enemies to take continous damage. Dionysus' elemental affinity is Water Water. Dionysus has no Infusion or Duo Boons with the other gods. Dionysus offers his boons whenever Melinoë speaks to him in his chamber on Mount Olympus.

"Moments spent in good company and cheer are to be savored."
"Mirth is needed more than ever in the darkest of times."

"The greatest joys cannot be contained and are to be shared."

Icon Description Notes Prerequisites

Tipsy Shot Water
Hold Cast to lob a large explosion. The binding circle forms there.
▸ Blast Damage: 300/450/600/750

Tipsy Shot counts as Olympian Damage

  • Cannot be combined with Glowing Coal
  • Cannot be combined with Lightning Lance
  • Cannot be combined with Tidal Ring
  • Cannot be combined with Local Climate
  • Cannot be combined with Hostile Environment
None
Worry Free Water
Gain a random amount of Health, but how much you have becomes a mystery.
▸ Max Life: +50 ~ 80/+70 ~ 100/+90 ~ 120/+110 ~ 140
After acquiring Worry Free, your current Health and Health will be displayed as ???/??? for the remainder of the night, preventing you from seeing your exact health. However, certain effects can still reveal or hint at your overall health:

At the end of the run, after defeating the Final Guardian, your actual Health and Health totals are revealed on the Victory Screen.
None
Drunken Stupor Water
Your Moves inflict Hangover the first time they strike foes.
▸ Hangover Damage (every 0.5 Sec.): 50/75/100/125
Hangover: Curse: Afflicted foes take damage continuously. Lasts for 4 Sec.

  • Hangover is only applied once per foe. Using another Ω Move on a foe that is already afflicted, or whose Hangover duration has ended, will not reapply the effect.
  • Although it functions similarly to Scorch as a damage-over-time effect, Hangover can deal Critical hits.
None
Bounce Back Water
After each Encounter, restore some Health if you took any damage in that Encounter.
▸ Lost Life Restored: 50%/60%/70%/80%
Currently Bugged:
  • The Health effect of Bounce Back currently registers Armor loss—not just Health damage—as qualifying damage. As a result, if your Armor is lowered or depleted during an encounter, the effect will still trigger—even if no actual Health was lost.
  • Bounce Back bypasses the effects of Vow of Scars and functions at full capacity.
None
Bottomless Drink Water
In each Encounter, Grape Juice appears, in the area and grants Power when used.
▸ Reappearance Time: 10 Sec./9 Sec./8 Sec./7 Sec.
Grape Juice: Gives your very next move +100 Power, then later reappears in a random spot.

  • The Grape Juice effect applies to any moves, including multi-hit moves, boosting each hit by +100 Power. This benefits moves such as:
  • The Grape Juice effect is less effective with certain Ω Moves that involve an Attack or Special action before channeling, as the effect is consumed prematurely. It also provides limited benefit to single-hit Ω Moves, which do not fully capitalize on the multi-hit bonus.
  • Currently Bugged: Grape Juice also applies to Casts damage, but with some limitations. The effect only applies to the following:
    • Ω Cast detonation damage
    • Arctic Ring: applies the bonus damage to every hit
    • Anvil Ring: applies the bonus damage to every hit
    • Storm Ring: only grants bonus damage to the initial hit, subsequent hits do not benefit.
None
Happy Haze Water
Every 8 Sec. in each Encounter, Festive Fog appears, making you stronger while in it.
▸ In-Fog Bonus Damage: +30%/+40%/+50%/+60%
Festive Fog: Emboldening vapors that repeatedly stuns susceptible foes. Lasts 5 Sec.

The stun effect applies even to enemies with the Impervious status.
None
Personal Loan Water
Give up all your Gold now. After vanquishing the next Guardian, gain that much and more.
▸ Bonus Gold Earned, Soon: +300/+400/+500/+600
None
Reckless Abandon Water
Your Attacks randomly deal exactly 5, 55, or 555 damage whenever they hit.
▸ Bonus Chance for Max Damage: 5%/7%/9%/11%
Hermes' Success Rate increases the chance of Reckless Abandon. Reach the 4th affinity rank with Dionysus.
