The effect of Bounce Back currently registers loss—not just damage—as qualifying damage. As a result, if your is lowered or depleted during an encounter, the effect will still trigger—even if no actual was lost.

The Grape Juice effect is less effective with certain Ω Moves that involve an Attack or Special action before channeling, as the effect is consumed prematurely. It also provides limited benefit to single-hit Ω Moves, which do not fully capitalize on the multi-hit bonus.
Currently Bugged: Grape Juice also applies to Casts damage, but with some limitations. The effect only applies to the following:
