The Demigods are a race of beings that are half-god and half-human. They possess mortal souls and are vulnerable to old age and death though they have longer than average human lifespans; however, their divine blood endows them with supernatural abilities that allow them to achieve feats usually not possible by humans.
Most notably the Olympian God Dionysus was a Demigod before being made a full Olympian as a reward for his feats. Another demigoddess, Persephone, became a full-blooded god sometime after she married the Greek god, Hades.

Trivia[]
- In Greek Mythology, Persephone is not a demigoddess since she is the daughter of Demeter and Zeus.
- Due to the multiple versions of his birth myth, Dionysus was not a demigod sometimes.
- All first-generation demigods are 1/2 God, and 1/2 Mortal.
- Due to Persephone's father being a mortal, Zagreus and Melinoƫ are 3/4 God, and 1/4 Mortal.
- Both Zagreus and MelinoĆ« seem significantly smaller than most full-blooded gods with Hades alone being estimated to stand somewhere in the range of 10ā12 feet tall compared to their normal human height of 5'10" and 5'6" respectively. It's unknown if this is a result of the mortal blood running through their veins or if it's a stylistic choice on the part of the developers.
