Bawlders are embodiments of despair found in the Fields of Mourning. Taking the form of a rolling boulder with a permanently anguished face, they wander the Fields without cease.
Bawlders will roam throughout the map they spawn in. While not particularly fast, they are one of the few foes largely immune to Melinoë's entangling Cast. They will follow Melinoë, and if she gets caught in their path, they will deal damage on contact and knock her back a short distance.

'Despair comes in many shapes and sizes; for instance, the shape of a large, crushing rock. This particular form suitably explains why there is not even more of that accursed strain of wheat growing in the Fields of Mourning. Giving in to Despair is easy. Avoiding it is difficult, but possible. Sometimes. Is that not so?'

- The Bawlders bear some resemblance to Bouldy. It's currently unknown if they are related.
